UMA is one of the first modeling agencies to be based in Egypt and it is the first modeling agency in Egypt to represent petite and plus-size models.Here at UMA we provide full services. We submit on Commercials, print, promotional modeling jobs and the Runway. We are pleased to announce that we are seeking models of all ages, races, sizes and based anywhere in the middle east. We proudly represent models In Egypt and represent Models, Actors and artists in the middle east. One of the main reasons we were inspired to create this agency was that it isn’t as easy to be a model here in Egypt or the middle east as it is in other countries in the world, It’s not a common thing so what we do is very unique in the middle east which is what inspired our name. We are called UMA; Unique models agency. That is because we search for unique faces, faces that don’t look like any other. When you put these first letters together you get UMA, which in India is the name of the Hindu goddess. Also, In Sanskrit the word umā can further mean “Splendour” and “Fame”.
