Katherine Highgate Model

Katherine Highgate is a model based in Toronto, ON. She is a graduate of Ryerson University’s Radio and Television Arts program, and an aspiring media practitioner. Katherine holds the Miss Trillium Canada 2016 and Miss Grand Canada 2015 titles and placed first runner-up in the 2015 Miss Earth Canada competition. She was named "Miss Teen Chatham-Kent 2009" and went on to compete in the 2009 Miss Teen Canada-World pageant. In 2013, Katherine placed in the top 8 at the Miss Universe Canada GTA contest and competed at the national finals later that year. Her work experience include fashion and promotional photoshoots as well as participation in events. Additionally to modeling she is an avid writer, amateur photographer and a blogger. Katherine is also a youth advocate, and through Youth for Human Rights International, has had the opportunity to work toward promoting human rights awareness among young people. Katherine was a recipient of the Lieutenant Governor’s award for community service in 2008 as well as the Helen Kavanagh Nicol Scholarship.
