Cristan Dascalu is a professional photographer residing in Cyprus, photography being his biggest passion of all. He uses his imagination and works with his soul in order to catch the moment, as beautiful as it is, to catch it and frame it, this is what he loves the most. His favorite style used for events is photojournalism as the photographs tell a story. The story is captured in the most artistic way, as natural as it is, it means capturing the emotions and feelings of that specific moment, especially when shooting wedding photos as well as pictures of baptism. He likes to use his imagination and creativity in order to bring smile on people’s beautiful faces. Portrait sessions are directed, controlled and supervised very carefully, focusing on the smallest details and emphasizing on the naturalness of the models.

He is committed to diversity; He tries to create something different from each event. He find that it is too dull to have patterns and repetition and his passion for photography makes him aim to capture each person’s beautiful world and shoot a broad variety of photographs that will remain for a lifetime. He takes most of my pictures during the day so that he can benefit from the sun’s natural light, especially here in Cyprus. He tries to limit the use of the flash and I only utilize it whenever the light is insufficient. His high-fidelity equipment helps capturing the surroundings that preserve the real atmosphere of the moment.
