Yura Liamin Photographer

Born in Russia, Yura Liamin studied photography in Montreal, Canada before establishing himself as a documentary and commercial photographer in New York City. His photographs, photo essays, and editorials have been published in local and international press, glossy magazines, and web publications. Currently he works as a commercial and fashion photographer out of New York while also working on several autonomous long-term visual art projects. The founder of NY-based production company WILD / FACTORY, Yura directs commercials and short films, branded content reels, behind-the-scenes, and music videos.

Photographer’s client list includes Cirque du Soleil, Vanity Fair, Status Magazine, Air Canada, Playboy, Mackage, St Regis Hotels, Vice, Unilever, Mrs Meyer’s, Ana Maria Couture, Home Depot, Triumph, Zang Toi, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Depesha Magazine, TRESemmé, Caress Body Wash, Cosmopolitan Magazine, and many more commercial, fashion and editorial clients. Yura has created unique portraits of many celebrities, from fiery chef Mario Batali to style guru Adriana Castro, to one and only musician Kelly Rowland. Yura lives with his family in Manhattan and shares time between assignments in Los Angeles and NYC.
