Sonny Moeckel Photographer

When a long time musician, was asked to fill in at a wedding, a magical bond was formed. That of a camera and the artistic visuals of Award winning Photographer, Sonny Moeckel. In Just a few short years of taking on the realms of the Photography world, Sonny has already garnished such accomplishments of having his work published in magizines, shooting Nationally sold products and showcasing his work in artist showcases.

Born and raised on the Navajo Reservation, Sonny who is half Navajo and Jicarilla Apache travels throughout the country working with a wide range of clients producing his signature style of modern fashion photography.

"I view the art of photography as a subtractive process, a distilling of reality into a personal vision. As such I often use the tools of modern photography to try to capture in an image the emotions I felt at the moment I tripped the camera's shutter." -sm

Sonny currently resides in Washington State w his two sons Brandon & Chase.
