Solveig Bakken Fotograf

Freelance photographer, based in Oslo. Works in documentary photography and film, does events, concerts etc. Solveig Bakken (1988) was born and raised in the small town of Elverum, Norway. She worked with drawing and painting from a young age, and discovered photography when she was 19, while studying cultural psychology in Bali, Indonesia. Solveig is inspired by fine art, and combines this with other genres within photography. As a photographer, she experiments with different lighting techniques to enhance the mood the photographs convey. Her work often touches the theme of mental health, political and environmental issues, and traveling, both within multimedia and still photography.
