BiographyI got an awkward start in front of the camera at 13 when I was discovered by the Image Group (a couple years before Ashton Kutcher joined the team) in Cedar Falls, IA at a mall. Went to New York for the 1996 IMTA and won my division. At age 15, I went to Seoul, Korea to model for a brief time. Moved back to Seattle and went back to high school full time. Did a brief stint on America's Next Top Model season 2, got kicked off for lack of height and never really pursued modeling but did small random things here and there. After I had my son I went to school for interior design. Then I found myself at the right place at the right time and ended up running DList Magazine's fashion department for the last 3+ years. All that experience in the industry & my desire to be creative paid off. My mother was a model when I was growing up so I've been playing dress up my whole life with my mother's fancy clothes, jewelry & makeup.
