Jacci Jackson Fashion Stylist
New York Jacci's discerning eye and love for fashion developed at a young age, when she would read fashion magazines; and as a teenager obsess over the high fashion debuted in America's Next Top Model. While completing her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Jacci set her sights on a career as a fashion stylist . But it is her excitement for everything fashion forward that prompted her to seek higher learning in the fashion industry with certifications in Image Consulting and Visual Merchandising.Over the past few years she has worked closely under the mentorship of celebrity stylist Todd Ramos. Her work includes photo and video shoots for various celebrities, Page Parkes modeling agency , Neal Hamil and Houston Magazine. She has worked with the style team of designer Cesar Galindo (CZAR fashion line) during New York Fashion Week. She has styled models for, and also appeared on Great Day Houston (The Deborah Duncan Show) as a model herself. Her latest venture is Magnolia Silks, an online accessory boutique that pays tribute to one of the great fashion icons in her family---her great aunt, Magnolia Ruth King. Jacci's Aunt Magnolia was a top couturier with daring style and a bold determination that flourished during the early 1950's . She designed costumes for the Supremes, Sammy Davis Jr, Mae West and many other Hollywood stardom. Following years of working with designers in Beverly Hills and Hollywood, she opened SILKS, the fabric she loved and and was known to specialize in. She owned and operated the high fashion boutique for years in Los Angeles and as the business flourished, a boutique was opened in New York city at the Plaza Hotel. Upon her retirement, she only excepted custom assignments from celebrity clients up until her death in 2009. Currently, Jacci is an elite member of Fashion Group International (FGI), the global professional organization consisting of leaders from the apparel, accessories, and beauty industry. She is bold, sophisticated, elegant and always looking to expend her knowledge of the industry. Jacci has launched a weekly newsletter and fashion blog to share her knowledge and expertise of fashion styles and trends. Jacci’s talent and hard work keeps her in high demand, as she spends her time between Houston and New York. She is a very focused collaborator, bringing her unique perspective and insight to any needs of a production including creative direction, set design, shoot production, casting, and photo editing to name a few. These characteristics are reflected as she helps her clients enhance their overall look by pushing the style envelope and bridging the gap between the catwalk and the sidewalk. |
