David Slaughter Photographer ® Warbird Vixens

Began my photography career in 1973 as the Junior High Yearbook Photographer. Continued through High School as the Yearbook Photography.

Upon Graduating in 1981 I attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and Graduated with an Associates degree in Commercial Photography.

Open a professional Photographic Rental store in San Diego, CA in 1986. Owned Lights, Cameras, Rentals till I sold it to Brooks Institute of Photography in 1992. Took an Associate Teaching Position with Brooks and Managed their Professional Student Camera Store till 1996.

Spent the next 20 years working in the Magazine Photography Industry and owned a 7,200 sq/ft commercial Studio in Las Vegas till 2009.

Sold the studio and took a 3 year teaching position at the Academy of Design on the Gold Coast of Australia till 2012.

In 2014 I opened a profession photography business specializing in Real Estate Photography and Headshots for professionals. Still operate that business today.

My passion has been photographing models on vintage warbirds and vehicles. I used to publish a calendar line called "Warbird Vixens".
