Costas was awarded Fellow of the Master Photographers Association (FMPA), The Fellowship in The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers (FSINWP), the Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS), the Associateship of the British Institute of Professional Photographers (ABIPP), the Associateship of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (ASWPP), the Associateship of the British Professional Photographers Association (ABPPA), Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), and the award of Excellence of the Federation Internationale de l'Art Photographique (EFIAP).
