Christos Tsakalos (self nicknamed Chris Shaghal) is a freelance photographer, retoucher, short digital filmmaker and shibari artist based in Greece. He was born in Patras, but studied painting in Athens (AKTO, Art & Design). His work has being featured in established magazines such as Illusion Magazine, Femme Rebelle, Photographos (Greek). He has 4 solo and several group exhibitions - 2 of them as a curator. His work is ranging from portraits, social, urban fashion, model books, as well as dark and erotic themed photography - he is also specialized in Japanese rope bondage (Shibari / Kinbaku) photography known with the alias Rope Shadow (also a performer / teacher) and under the label of Rope Studies art group. He is available for creative projects / teaching both locally and abroad.
