Chris Caruana Photographer

Chris Caruana was born in Norfolk, Virginia. He graduated from Kempsville High School in Virginia Beach and studied business and marketing at Tidewater Community College. He became fascinated with scenic photography at the age of 13 while visiting family in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and seeing the beautiful scenery of the area. After receiving his first camera at age 18 he began photographing scenery from his travels. He moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and stayed during the winter of 2007-08. While attending a marketing class at Tidewater Community College in 2010, Chris was inspired by his professor to provide a product or service that he would enjoy doing. He didn't even own a camera at the time, only scenic photos from his time in Wyoming that he knew people would enjoy. Soon after he was able to acquire a camera and build from what little resources he had at the time. Chris had a photo published on the cover of the Daily Break section of The Virginian-Pilot newspaper on June 10, 2011. Since then he has continued to dedicate himself to his work providing both scenic prints and portrait/fashion photo sessions. Chris moved to Brooklyn, NY in February of 2014 Since then he has continued to develop his skills and teamed up to work weddings with William Mason of William Mason Photography.
