South-African born photographer Candy Kennedy launched her career at the early age of 18 in Cape Town before moving on to bigger adventures in Dubai and Paris, where she discovered her love for shooting portraits and further developed her passion for capturing the uniqueness of her subjects. Currently represented by one of the top agencies in Manhattan, Marek & Associates, Candy moved to New York City where she can be found rushing through busy streets, always ready to capture the city’s unique urban energy. Passionate and eternally caffeinated, Candy brings crazed energy to every project she gets her hands on and is currently busy working on a tattoo artist book and prepares for an exhibition in NYC at the end of the year. Her most recent project was a shoot for Russian Vogue. Candy has directed her first short film “What could have been” which will be out soon , she has also recently directed 3 commercials.
